Life

Another day goes by
Everyday the same
Everything in order
No chaos in my life
But I long to have freedom!

Each day different from the other
I don’t want order
I want to be radical
And do things without thought

No simpler life do I long for
Nothing to bind me
Nothing to stop me
But that day will when something does

Walking down the streets of old
I see a girl that I once knew
We greet and remind ourselves of our youths
That night, it seems I’m going out for dinner

A few years later
Little brats run around my house
And order rules my life again
The little brats I love so much
The freedom I once had, they now have

As the years go by
What I have I can no longer see
Guided by a stranger
Through to the world I knew so well
Then the day came
When my eyes were never to be opened again
