Simplicity

Life is so simple
But the plain eye is blind to the simple things
The world has so much to offer
But we believe it to be too complex

But what it offers is simple
Life to the fullest
Was this life of ours meant to be complex
If it were, would it not have been from the start

How can we fathom the great mysteries of life
Everyday, we think is the same
Yet it holds new adventures
Only, if we reach out and seek it

We are too constrained in this dark world
The industrial and commercial businesses run the world
It blinds us from the simplest joys of life
To know these things is pure bliss

How do we find these simple joys
No one knows, for all have forgotten
The ways of the beginning
Living on what nature had to give

The sport of survival were so simple
But we have made it so complex
Building shelters that were unnecessary
Replacing things that nature had provided

The simple life of man has become so complex
Living everyday the same
Same needs, same wants everyday
Seek simplicity and you will find joy
